Any advice on starting Lavender? The soil's a little sandy...and do they need full sun or can they thrive alright in partial? Thanks..

They prefer full, hot sun in dry conditions. However, i have some in partial shade and they're fine. They don't like heavy, waterlogged soil so sandy soil should be good.
