hi any idea what this wild garden invader is called? i think its invasive or is it ? where i got it from there was a lot of then should i rush out now and get rid of it?

My guess is Chelidonium majus (greater celandine).

Member of the poppy family.

I agree. I quite like it in the garden, it does seed about but has attractive flowers and foliage.

thanks you have dampened my fears of a mass invader by root and yes i think it does like you say just seed around and it does look nice

Break a stem and get a surprise Alistair - the sap is an unusual colour! and it used to be used very effectively for getting rid of warts.

but the sap is an irritant on some people so be careful.

I had a gift of one of these in a pot this spring. it is pretty.
