After planting seed potatos and other seeds today something has dug the seed potatos up again and disturbed the other plantings, I live in the countryside and have never had a problem before, any ideas what the culprit is?

Have you examined the disturbed soil for footprints? Deer and badgers leave very different size prints so even on freshly dug soil you might be able to detect one or two. But has anybody every heard of deer digging? We have a regular badger visitor and so far it hasn't dug up any taters, so I hope this doesn't give it ideas.
