I had roots on Salvia Hotlips cuttings just sitting in water....have potted them on and looking good (whoopee) but they're getting a bit long and wavy ... Now ...can I cut them back a bit to make them more sturdy ? I'm afraid to cut out the growing tips in case they die?
Please help!
Thanks

Yep, cut them back, that'll encourage the plants to bush out too.

Thanks for that...I have safely given them a haircut!

Do you know about the blue salvias, too? I collected seed from mine last year, is it too late to plant them? The parent plant seems to have konked out.
