I have a pear tree, 3 years old, that's doing great and produces fruit all the time. This year some of the branches have buds and some don't. Shall I prune the ones that don't have buds on them?

I'm assuming you're in the UK, its much too early yet to say whats happening, my trees are beginning to bud but certainly not leaf or flower .......wait and see is my advice.
my pear crop often depends if we have a late frost which kills the blossom, often we get good and bad years.....
