Depends on the variety of rose for pruning requirements and when to do it, otherwise, feed in April and again in early June with a specialist rose feed, lightly forked in at the roots, keep sprayed if necessary for black spot, aphids, mildew, etc. Get yourself a copy of The Rose Expert by D G Hessayon, that tells you everything, its only a tenner new.
