What way up do I plant my gypsophilia root crowns?
They look like bald twigs with shoots round the bottom.

when you say shoots are they green/white or dark brown like the rest of the root?
usually the top is thicker tapering thinner as you go towards the base, like a carrot. the thin bit is the bottom.
any chance you can add a photo to the question?

The shoots are the growing part so this is the top.
