I have had my two runners pin'd down for five weeks now and there are roots coming through the bottom of the plant pot out of the drain holes and have for leaf shoots on both with two more on each starting to grow, when should i cut them from the main plant.

OK, I shall cut them from the main strawberry plant tomorrow then if you think they can now survive on their own.

Are you talking about strawberry runners Dan? If so I'd say they are fine to move now.
