A friend was telling me about a scented bush which she called 'sweet buxus', apparently it's perfumed in winter. Can anyone tell me the correct name for it?

If you're thinking of getting one, have a look at Sarcococca hookeriana var. Digyna. It's a much more elegant leaved shrub and to my mind, much prettier. :)

Yes, agree with that. Neither of them survived here though, think we are too cold.
