I wonder if anyone can ID the disease on my Mother's apple tree from the photo below. Is it possible to cure it? It produces delicious fruit (not sure what variety) and we'd be gutted to lose it. Best wishes, Korky

Yes, it's Apple Tree Canker, which is caused by a fungus named Nectria galligena.
