oh dear, my tree ferns are trying to shoot but not very well. what can I use to help get them going, I would hate to lose them. they are about 6 ft tall.

Keep spraying the trunk with water as its so hot and dry, and water into the top. You could try a dose of sugary water into the top of the trunk too.
