I have an ornamental rhubarb with tatty leaves can I cut them off. and will they grow again this year. Thank you

If it's a rheum palmatum, for example, it's of the same family as a rhubarb and almost as vigorous. We pull off the entire leaves and stems of rhubarb so removing the odd tatty rheum leaf will do no harm at all. It will probably encourage the new pristine leaves to grow, in fact.
