my peonies are done blooming can i cut them down at grown level...also my roses bloomed profusely but now the leaves look scaley ..what can i do for this thanks Rosebuds

No if you cut them down to ground level they will do poorly next year the leaves are needed to help feed the root for the next years flowers.

Cut the dead Paoenia flower heads off though so the plant doesn't waste strength in making seed.

no i would leave well alone let them go there own pace do it later in the autumn.
