Hi has anyone ever seen the likes of this when growing their own Potatoes ?

Yes, its quite normal. Potatoes are related to tomatoes, but the fruits are poisonous.

Yup perfectly normal… just don't eat the fruits! Both potatoes and tomatoes are part of the solarnum family whih includes all the nightshades!
