Anyone recognise this ?

Sorry but the photos of the leaves are not great as they are about 18ft up and entrenched in a sycamore tree.

I have no idea what it is but it seems to grow about 18ins to 2ft a year.

The lower park of the trunk is smooth (pic 2) while further up it has a coconut matting feel (pic 3). Can I cut this to a reasonable height without killing it ?

Hard to say because the leaves are so droopy that you can't see the actual shape of them....as other posts suggest it could be a cordyline or yukka

How do I say thanks?
