Looks awfully like a Malus of some sort?

I am not very knowledgeable about plants what is Malus. thanks for your responce.

Malus is the genus that Apples belong to and it includes the domestic apple (including cooking, dessert and cider amongst it's varieties) plus quite a few crab apples (including wild species apples and first and second generation hybrid crab apples).

Any chance of a close up of the flowers with a leaf shot?
