My tomatoes are about a foot high but looking very spindly.
I should have nipped the growing points out when smaller.
Is it too late to do? it now

They might need potting into bigger pots or even given a bit more space. Don't take the growing tips out until they have 4-5 trusses as said above.

I have never nipped out the growth points until they have at least 4 or 5 trusses of tomatoes on them. Are they suffering from lack of light?
