Hi, can anyone identify this flower for me please? Thanks in advance. Is it a cape daisy by any chance?

Hi, I would say Osteospermum jucundum, don't know if that is what you call a cape daisy, but it is a native of South Africa, Derek.

Thanks to all. I took that picture in someone's front garden a few streets away from mine. Actually one of them popped up last year in my back garden, shame it hasn't re-appeared this year though.

A lot of them aren't hardy,Ad There is a hardy one,as we have it in a border, but I can't remember the variety..It's a spreader though, but easily divided ,to keep under control..if you don't have a lot of space..a good gap filler, and flowers non stop through summer..

I like Osteopermum. I recently bought 3. White, yellow and pink.
