Sinningia is the horticultural name for Gloxinia, and its a houseplant. Likes temperatures between 70 and 80 degF, does not like direct sunlight, prefers high humidity, should not be allowed to dry out completely whilst its in leaf. Its a tuber, so when it dies down you can keep it somewhere very cool and leave it unwatered and it may grow again - at the first hint of growth, bring back into light and warmth.
