I have brown spots on my bramley apple tree and most of the flesh is edible, however most unsightly. The tree is too big to spray. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi Leoinl and welcome to GoY. Are you saying you have ripe apples on your Bramley with brown spots? At this time of year I'm not surprised they should have been picked and stored last September.

If the brown spots are actually inside the apple it could be a sign of calcium deficiency.

How do I say thanks?
