Hi - I haven't been in touch for a while - however as I have a problem you're the first port of call!!!
I have two tree ferns Dickonsonia Antartica(I think thats spelt wrong) one is about 4 ft & one five ft. I have had them over six years and protect them each winter with straw & chicket wire at the crown. usually by now they are either sprowting fronds or you can feel them in the crown. At the moment they seem to be dead with no sign of life. Has any one had a similar experience after this hard winter - do you think I've lost them or is there anything I can do - I have added diluted sea weed fertiliser but still no sign of life. Any ideas please??? you can see them in my photos in previous years. Mz Greenfingers

Quite a few people lost their ferns this year, but I'd still give it time - everything's late this year, and now of course it's pretty cold again. Keep sheltered and cared for in the hope they'll recover and put out new fronds later.
