It should do, and its certainly worth a try. if you find you get lots of small and congested growth, thin out as it appears. Give it a good feed in March or April, as it starts to regrow.

Mine got broken right down last year by my naughty dogs Marge, pleased to say it did regrow and doesn't seem any worse off, in fact its now a better shape........
