You probably have an Arbutus unedo.

As with anything kept in a large tub, you will need to keep it well watered and fed in the growing season. Also, every 5-5 years, it needs removing from the pot, 1/4 of the old soil removed and fresh John Innes no 3 put back.

You may also lack the flowers and fruits by keeping them in tubs....or some plants actually flower more !!!!

Other than that, it should be fine.

Thanks badfish. I don't want to lose the flowers, maybe I made a mistake buying this for a tub. Think I'll find a place in the garden for it.
