~ don't throw them yet just in case but the very severe cold over the winter may have seen them off~ did you wrap/cover them in fleece?

Im having the same trouble, Im hoping that Ill see sprouts soon, I havent ever had to fleece them, I dont see how you can when they are scrambling over an arch.

Dont give up hope Im not! if you have any of the fruit left they very easily germinate, I have a couple of young seedlings elsewhere in the garden but they will take a while to be anything like the main one.
