I have a hanging basket collection. Bought them from Suttons called scopia collection. The web page now seems to have been removed on this product and so I can't access for information.Plants not arrived yet but in the past I have usually killed basket plants by overfilling.As a rough guide how many eg petunias per 12" basket?

I wouldn't advise growing anything in a 12" basket. It will dry out too rapidly, and there won't be enough root space. I'd go for 14" minimum or 16". You will have a far better display.

3 maximum, especially if they're surfinia trailing types, 2 if you're putting an upright and other trailers in as well.
