I have one Val !
I've had it about 3 years and it's planted in my front garden - south facing, sheltered by 2 walls and in thin, poor soil.
It respnds well to hard pruning and is a good strong plant but ..... i've not had flowers yet :-(

Bear in mind it is tender - a southfacing, sheltered position in a milder part of Britain would be fine, but elsewhere the plants need to be brought in for the winter.

Thanks Louise and Bamboo, I have just heard that they grow 10 ft and more in Spain ! ! I am very sceptical even more so now Louise says she's never had any flowers ! o(((

I've grown it in a pot in Bath - it flowered, but it was under glass all winter.
