Slugs possibly. Miine have had snails on them - I could scream!

Otherwise, birds like yellow and orange flowers - so it could be them pecking the primroses. :-((

Some of my Narcissus flowers have been eaten this year, seems to be lots of slugs and snails around.

There shouldn't be, after that winter, but you're right!
