having a poinsetta that has survived since xmas, how do you propagate them

They need indirect sunlight, warm temps and can grow outdoors if those factors are met. To produce the "flowers" they require DARKNESS in the fall, 12-14 hours a night. Cover them at night if artificial light (streetlights) interfere. Now is the time to repot.
