I have planted my onion sets in a raised bed about 2 weeks ago and they are growing. Some I planted in cells in the greenhouse, incase the ones outside didnt like it.
Should be planted on the shortest day ready to harvest by the longest day. But planting them now and up to the end of Mar should be fine.

ya i have got the same 'red sun' and 'golden gourmet' and planted mine in pots last week,i did plant mine last year alittle earlier than this year as the weather was warmer,i always grow in shallow pots as they dont have long roots and they do brilliantly.
