Is this a Salvia or Scutellaria?
I took this photo at Trentham Gardens in August, but am not sure if its a Salvia or a Scutellaria. I do hope someone can help please and I'd love to know the variety too? Thanks.

I withdraw that! Too neat a flower spike, and it's branched too tidily. But it's too tall for scutellaria, isn't it? And salvia flowers are narrower and more obviously hooded over. I'm going to stick with nepeta!

I think they have this at Aberglasny gardens - you could try emailing them with your photo and see if they can tell you.

Is it a particularly fine specimen of nepeta sibirica?
