i,ve been trying to grow good cabbages but every year i get a white grub (about the thickness of a pencil lead) that takes the middle of the cabbage out. can you help please

Are you rotating where you are growing them? 1 in 3 years is the recommended interval. If you can find a soil pest killer to dig in in the fall, that might help.
