catapillars have ruined my garden this year ,any suggestions please

Agree with Chatbud. You can spot brown leaves where the young ones are feasting. Catch them then and pull them off before they destroy the whole plant. You can spray with provado. Some plants are more susceptible than others - Raspberry, Birch and etc.
