Tortoiseshell Butterflies
We have had about 6 tortoiseshell butterflies in the house in the last few days, lots of open windows due to the lovely weather, are they trying to tell us something, like a change in the weather, or is it the cooler nights?

They are probably looking for somewhere to overwinter. I don't mind them hiding in my house as long as I am there when they are batting against the window to get out in spring! If you don't like the idea just shoo them out and maybe they'll hide in the shed!
