Should I have sprouts and broccoli on my plants by now?? The plants are very healthy, about 3 foot tall, planted out in March. I covered them over with a cage of enviromesh to keep the butterflies at bay and this has certainly done the job, except I would have expected them to be starting to produce by now but no sign at all! Any ideas?

Thank you, I planted them all out in March, didn`t realise it would take as long as a year, I will have to be more patient! My broccoli is also the purple sprouting.
Do you think I could now remove the enviromesh or would it be best to leave it in place?
