its caused by irregular watering. in this heat they get dry inbetween waterings then when the water arrives the cells swell and cause a split. trying watering an extra time in the day. if you only water in the evening try watering them in the early morning too. the ones that have split will be better removed and eaten [if green fry them] or if reddening pick and eat. later fruit will be ok.
