Thanks for that everyone, yes it does smell a little strange but not too bad a little bit like a bit of steak that has been open a little too long. It's a stunning flower though and it's in a corner away from the house and seating area so I think I'll keep it, as I say I dont remember planting it and we have lived here a while now. :o)
