Well they do, but do much better left alone, I just pinch out a bit if they start get piled up and overcrowded on one side......the toms underneath can go rotten turning the pot can help to keep the growth even

NO! don't pinch out anything on tumbling toms, let them do their own thing. I have 2 of them at the moment and in spite of cool weather seem to be romping away.

No you don't pinch them out. Thats why they are called tumbling!
