hi keen gardeners out there I have some Asiatic lilys they r coming on nicely but have noticed a white web on the flowers any ideas. the plants look very green and healthy. thanks Maggie enjoying the sunshine in my garden.

this is a normal attribute of the flower bud. it disappears as the flower bud develops. its to protect the developing bud from wet.

Hi Maggie, it's probably just spiders web, and not harmful to the plant, what you have to look out for is lily beetle, and their grubs, I stopped growing lilies a few years ago, as there was no treatment for them until recently, Derek.
