Hi everyone,ive just brought a packet of brugmansia seed,(angels trumpets). ive done some reading on how to start these off but not sure if its ok to do so,ive read that you need to soak them for 2-3 hours in hand hot water? is this right about the water having to be hand hot?..any advise would be very gratefull..thankyou for reading.

Its to break the dormancy......fascinating subject really....some seed needs a cold spell (in the garden or fridge) some heat and some to pass through a bird......more difficult to replicate. ;0)

hi, last year i got some, and yes you do soak them, i put mine in just a small bowl and covered it and they did fine. good luck with the growing!
