Had a mystery plant with red stems suddenly shoot up in the garden last week. Any suggestions on what it is as I'm not 100% sure it's a weed.

Shouldn't be uproot, looking at that picture, more like 'downroot'!

Looks like a peony to me but not sure , cant see it properly as the picture is upside down
