What is variety name of the dahlia with its petals oddly growing downwards! Seen it on a TV gardening programme but forgot name.

I don't know of a dahlia which does this, although perhaps on a pom pom, some of the petals will be downwards. Sure you don't mean something like Rudbeckia or Echinacea?
