Garlic Bulbs

GoY told me that I should buy garlic bulbs to plant from a farmers market. We have this Massive super market bulb and one of the cloves is already sprouting, i figured that this one would be OK to plant and would grow to be big like the original bulb. Is this correct?

Thanks! I'm going to do it anyway. I don't really want bulbs that big because I won't be able to use them all! The cloves are really round though.

that wont matter. It is just the variety type. go for :o)

yes it will grow to be the same variety of garlic. It probably wont get as big though. worth a try Spottyelephant
