Dpes anyone know what this plant is called please. I've lost the name and cen't remember what it was.

Not at all sure but it looks very similar to a Citrus, perhaps a Lemon tree.?

I thought it looks like a Citrus, lemon or orange tree too, do you have it inside or outside, like the shape of the root :o)
Oh! Have you had flowers on it? Mind you thats all according how long you've had it :o)

No sorry it isn't any of those. I'd remember the name if I saw it. It was rather a strange name. Thank you both for trying though.
I bought it last year in Lidl :o) and it had a label on it. I keep it indoors. It said so on the label. It hasn't flowered so far.

is it the boabab [obesum] tree. grows 50ft tall in africa big shade jobies that the elephants shelter under.

Erm, it is Ficus microscarpa ginseng. Loads of places sell them - Lidl, Homebase, B&Q, Ikea etc.

I love the idea of having a Boabab tree in the sitting room - just think how many elephants you could have sheltering underneath it - but they might have trouble getting through the door here!! LOL.

I actually do have one that is 10" tall :o)
a friend brought it back from the Namibia. they are sold as holiday trinkets complete with import certificates. It took ages to start into growth but is now dormant for the winter.
