I keep mine moist but not wet and make sure that it has plenty of light but not bright sun and not too near a heat source or fluctuating heat but thereagain it could have caught a chill on the way home! they're trempramental ! :-)

If it was allowed to dry out before you bought it nothing you can do is going to make it any better... Other than that as Pamg says keep warm and in a well lighted area but do not have near a radiator.
