Missed Gardening magazine!

I will have a look out for it when I go out this afternoon. There is a shop nearby that often has garden mags still on the shelf

do they have a website maybe you could ask for 1 to be sent or possible the article is on the site. Or if you have a subscription tell them its not arrived!
am sure they must do back issues

Mookins, I checked their website - not very helpful, to be honest. I don't subscribe - I suppose I should!

thats a shame about the webiste. You dont have to subscribe perhaps just asking the local shop to order it in for you. that way you guarranteed to get it.

Trouble is with subscriptions I find that they build up and then I run out of time to read them and start missing competitions and offers etc, then they go missing and have to contact various people to complain etc

I should think that it is like other mag's comes out on the 17th of the month, I HAVE MISSED A FEW FISHING MAGS LIKE THAT, WHAT i DO IS GO TO ALL THE SHOPS THAT SELL MAGS AND SEE IF THEY HAVE ONE LEFT IT WORKS MOSTLY. sorry about the higher case I hit it to get a higer case i then forget to knock it off ,the times I have to retype what I have said as I do not look at the screan until I have written what I wnt to say, I think it is what you call haveing a senior moment.

The trouble is, Cliffo, that we live in a VERY rural area - we've been into the nearest (small) town, which has two or three Newsagents, and they didn't have a copy - not did either of the Supermarkets where I normally buy it.

I'm still hoping that a kind GOY member might come across one, or have finished with theirs!!

I know what you mean, we have one paper shop well it is not a paper shop they have a few on the counter but mostly deliver , I am eight miles from Chester but there is a w. h .smiths there, and a number of big shops that have papers books mags ect but we are used to going to Chester because there is not even a chip shop betwen hear and Chester or hear and wrexham and if a takeaway opend they would leave town on a pole

Yes I do know it didnt get the name though, if you ring you local supplier/supermarket they may get one from the wholesalers/distributers for you.

Let's face it, if you subscribed it probably wouldn't turn up on time at present because the post is so messed up!

our you if you ask in one of the paper to keep you a coppy each month' and if you have your daily deliverd that would be the shop to ask then you could not forget because it would be deliverd

Just ring any number relating to the magazine, normally in small text where the names of the editor, publisher,writers are and they should be able to send you a back copy at the magazine cost as well as P+P.

Your newsagent should be able to order one in every time or keep one to one side
