i have bought a hydrangea macrophylla and would like to know could i take cuttings off it nxt yr if yes how do i cut it please many thanks

You can layer them or take softwoodcuttings in mid summer. I bend a suitable stem to the ground strip the leaves off lay it in a bit of soil based compost and pin/weight it down takes about a year. I have never taken cuttings someone else will be able to tell you about cuttings.
