I want to grow onions Now seeds in the greeenhouse (not heated) and plant out September. As I am new to this and have grown a lot of veg in tubs in mt garden. very pleased as the sweet corn came up trumps and tasted lovely

i like to growing onions to what I do is prepare the bed first. Well rotted horse manure,then garden compost and rake in blood fish and bone. Plant up the onions and cover them up to stop the birds pulling them out.
