I planted Erysimum Bowles in April which is still in flower but has grown bushy - should I trim it before winter?

It is very easy to grow from cuttings. You can take them anytime, really. That way you can grow a new plant to replace the old one when it becomes woody.

There is no need to if you are happy with it that size.
