I have something similar in the garden Mookins or I wouldnt attempt a guess , couldmit be some sort of lilac tree, google it and see

Is that it for the flowers, or do they get bigger and open out more? I'm thinking maybe a summer flowering ceanothus, such as Gloire de Versailles, if these are just the flower buds rather than the actual flowers, though they do look a bit too lilac rather than blue.

sorry I didnt gey the flowered ones in shot
they are as big as the buds and they are bright pink with yellow think the word is stamens in the middle

Hi Bamboo I aint to good with ID of flowers it's just it looks like the lilac I had , altthough the flowers on mine were out and away ages ago. so maybe not lilac

Well a pic of the whole plant as well as an open flower or two would be helpful, plus a whole leaf or three! Not the ceanothus I mentioned then.

I thought it was a Callicarpa (Beauty Berry), probably way off though.
