Why are some of my sweetpeas not flowering but are 'blind'?

I grew good quality seeds and planted into well composted ground in the sun. Plants look healthy, but with big leaves with few flowers.

Sounds as if there's an excess of nitrogen available to the plant, but not much potash or potassium, both of which encourage flowering. Are you feeding them and if so, what with? Suggest you give them a shot of tomato food watered in round the base.
